EPC contract for Mechanical Biological Treatment (MBT), based on WATT Group’s patented ecological technology.

WATT Group carried out the entire design and construction of the Biological Wastewater Treatment Plant, using its patented technology, and is the contractor (50% participation in a joint venture with INTRAKAT SA) for the integrated EPC wastewater treatment facility in Thiva.

• The facility has a capacity of 50,000 tonnes for mixed and source-separated municipal solid waste.
• The plant produces recyclables, compost and energy through the anaerobic biological treatment of the organic fraction.
